Construction zone

Part of the path to work today had new gravel on it but this section has been in poor shape for weeks since I came back from Austin. To be fair it appears that some attempt at what may be considered grading is going on here before new gravel is put down but I thought that I should go ahead and highlight the issue here with our infrastructure following yesterdays post on Portland and their entire system costing less than a mile of interstate. It’s hard for many folks to consider a bike ride to work when you know your backside will be punished with ruts and your clothing dirtied by mud. Of coarse, no one wants to be attacked by a giant finger either, but I never claimed to be an epic photojournalist.
