Buttermilk Trail needs help with unwanted guests

Friends of the James River ParkJoin James River Park manager Ralph White and the Friends of James River Park with clipping the invasive English ivy on the Buttermilk Trail and on Riverside Drive Saturday.:

When: Saturday, Feb 19, 2011

Where: Reedy Creek, Riverside Drive

Description: Ralph White is looking for some volunteers to clip some vibrant though invasive English Ivy on the Buttermilk Trail at 2 p.m. A few slots are available at 10 p.m. Wear work clothes, sturdy shoes, and gloves. Pruners will be provided (but you can certainly bring your own). To register at 2 p.m. or 10 a.m. and to get parking details, contact Elaine Marolla,
